The International Communication Training Institute (ICTI) is ICMC's media education and training initiative. ICTI functions as a self regulating partnership of agencies and individuals committed to raising the quality of media education and learning for christians.
Participants have covenanted to work together to:
- Identify training needs and offer appropriate solutions.
- Promote and facilitate quality training for organisational and personal development.
- Encourage the sharing of curriculum and training resources.
- Develop and monitor common standards.
- Evaluate outcomes and award certificates to agreed standards.
- Provide training for trainers.

The world is changing and so is the world of learning and development. This 'wiki' is intended to be a ‘field-book’ or ‘manual’ for trainers who are supporting changing organisations into the future. This document is not a how-to manual although such insights may be in evidence. Rather, it provides the next generation with ideas and approaches to their own practice drawn from the inquiry of others .
It is a participative space where ICTI members can chip in with their own perspective, suggest areas and topics to be added or correct errors and update with more recent ideas and practice.

The ICTI website now carries a selection of media training handouts, offered freely by trainers for anyone to download, copy and use. They don't have to be used in the form they appear, since they might not be exactly appropriate. So they can be altered and modified to suit the individual trainer using them.

This forum supports participants and provides a place for trainers to discuss experiences and issues that may arise.

Area by invitation for those wishing to explore how they learn.
The field of learning styles has mixed reviews. Many learning and development professionals consider that there is little evidence to support their use whilst others have found the empirical process helpful.
This area is provided to help members understand the challenges of one approach and explore its usefulness.
