Malcolm Fidge, Chair of the ICTI Council, is offering access to the Perception and Preference Inventory (PAPI).
PAPI is a psychometric instrument marketed in the UK by Cubiks Ltd. The instrument has been used across the globe for over 40 years and is currently in use by over 5,000 professionals worldwide. It is available in more than 30 languages.
PAPI explores a broad range of personality dimensions which are split between Role and Need scales. PAPI is regularly used to help staff development, group dynamics and conflict resolution, as well as recruitment and selection.
Malcolm Fidge says “PAPI can also play a key role in increasing the efficiency of staff development initiatives. In particular, it can be used to pinpoint what needs to be done to improve an individual's effectiveness in their role, to develop their skills to enhance future performance, and provide remedial action if an individual is under-performing.”
By overlaying the profiles of individual team members on to: One PAPI wheel, it is possible to quickly assess the strengths and weaknesses of the team. Understand why problems arise between people. Highlight ways to re-engineer a team for optimum performance and honestly discuss issues of concern in a methodical and reliable framework.
Fidge has been using PAPI for some 25 plus years and would like to use the tool to assist with the development of Christian Leadership and Management.
